Certified Organic by Quality Certification Services (QCS) Wyndham Organics avocado farm is run by Murray Bass, a Florida native farming in Homestead for over three decades. Managing 2,000 trees, Murray’s avocado groove consists of 8 variety of avocado. This genetic diversity gives him consistent harvest production from June to January each year.

Homegrown Co-op is happy to be working with Wyndham Organics to help them sell their “Number 2” fruits. #2s are not desired by the grocery store markets because they do not look perfect. They have funny shapes, ‘wind scare’ or are too large to be easily shipped through distribution networks. We love giant funny looking fruits here at Homegrown Co-op and are happy to bring them to you now direct from Murray’s farm.
