These are 5-7 inch pieces of sponges that are "less pretty" than the bath sponges. These are perfect for scrubbing pots and dishes or washing your car or any other cleaning projects around the house. This is what is left over because I do not wish to use bleach in the processing of the sponges but they are still perfectly useful. Grown right here at my home in Florida. Yes grown, Lufa is a vine similar to a cucumber but much bigger. The fruit become quite large and if allowed to mature and dry on the vine,they can be pealed to become the nice plant fiber sponges so great for use in the bath or to wash dishes and scrub pots without worry of scratching the non stick surface. These plants are grown chemical free, some in soil and some in Aquaponics. Sponges are pealed and washed in plain water to remove plant juices and most seeds then dried in the sun. No bleach is used so color will vary. Sponges may contain a few free seeds. If you wish to grow your own, provide a strong trellis, these vines are able to grow to the top of trees in our long hot summers. Small fruits are edible.

This concentrated soap blend is perfect for tackling big jobs like washing floors, bathtubs, toilet bowls, cars, outdoor furniture, litter boxes, kid's toys, etc. It can even be used for hand-washing dishes. This Earth-friendly product is extremely versatile but will last you quite a while since it is so concentrated. You need just a cap full or two per gallon of water. This soft scrub cleaner is a personal favorite of mine. I keep one under my kitchen sink and use it to clean my stainless steel sink, dirty casserole dishes, pots & pans, my glass stove top when food gets burnt on, the inside of my oven and the inside of my dishwasher. I keep another jar in the shower and use it to clean the glass doors, tile walls and floor while I'm taking a shower! There are no harsh fumes to breathe (it smells like delicious cake frosting) so I find it's quick and easy to do. It's also great for cleaning bathroom sinks & tubs, scuff marks on the walls, and the inside of your washing machine. Anytime you need a little extra oomph when you're cleaning, reach for Scrub. I even discovered recently that it will remove paint from your skin if your hands get dirty while you're cleaning paint brushes! To use just scoop a little out with a wet sponge and rub onto surface. It's abrasive enough to clean but won't scratch your surfaces.
